I’d never heard of Steampunk until this year’s Geek.Kon (behind the times much?), when I got to tour their Airship engine room of mystery (ooaaaoo). It was… cool. And now I’m seeing it everywhere, and loving all of it. It reminds me of opening up those random boxes in Myst… all the metal and gears and mysterious purposes. And I saw this and thought… why don’t all houses look like this?One day I will live in a Buddhist Steampunk shrine with a shishi-odoshi and lots of hidden passages. This would make me happy.
